The theme Of Kanyakumari To Srinagar-Umling La Pass, Leh Motorcycle Expedition 2023 Is To create awareness about the invaluable treasures of nature. The concept propagated by Yasa India is planned to generate consciousness about tree plantation and enlightenment among youngsters.
In this programme, you are able to encounter people of different cultures, backgrounds and experiences. Young participants and volunteers meet together from all parts of the world regardless of region, race or religion. The friendship thus established makes a significant contribution to peace & international understanding as they are able to understand and appreciate different cultures & practices. It builds a healthy environment which promotes the tolerance and respect for everyone’s right to peace and security, thereby reducing the intolerancey

Participants will report at Salem on 1st May 2023. After expedition they will leave from Delhi India gate on 5th June 2023.

Event
48 Motorcyclists will undertake about 5850 km journey starting from Kanyakumari to Srinagar (South to North) covering the most challenging places on the route via Kanyakumari, Salem, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Jhansi, Gwalior, Gurgaon, Delhi, Ambala, Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Jammu, Srinagar, Kargil, leh, (Umling la Pass), Kyelang, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Delhi. During this event, the participants will get a chance to undergo outdoor experience of all the four seasons i.e. Summer, Monsoon, Heavy winds(Rajasthan), Heavy Winter & Ice Glaciers (Kashmir) etc.

What You should Bring
Motorbike 125 cc – 135 cc registered on or after 1st March 2020 only, Motor 150 cc or above registered on or after 1st March 2019 will be permitted. Fully insured, Valid National Driving Licence, helmet, leather gloves, other safety gears (if any), cotton/polyster shirts, jeans/trousers, woollen jersey or jacket, woollen muffler & cap, woollen gloves, sports/leather shoes, sun cap, woollen socks, water bottle, lunch box, goggles (to protect UV rays), cold cream, toilet requisite, personal medicine, normal spare parts of the bike, mobile phone, camera, stationery items etc. You will wear a suitable placard (provided by organisers) on your bike for identification & publicity. Participants may bring valuables but only at their own risk. Participants will have to abide by the terms and conditions laid down by the organisers.
Specifications of Bike
Minimum 125cc -135cc registered on or after 1st March 2020, Bike 150cc or above registered on or after 1st March 2019. Fully Insured. The participant must possess a valid national driving licence. All selected participants should send/bring their bike on 1st may 2023 for inspection and approval. The participants are requested to bring fully checked bikes for the event.
Criteria for Selection
Preferred Age Group: 21 years – 49 years
The participant (male/female) should be in excellent physical and medical fitness.
They must have a taste for adventure and willing to live in the rough and tough terrain.
They should be able to withhold the stress and strain in such high altitude expedition (where oxygen is less) for long duration.
The participants must have a driving license for Two wheeler
valid in India.
• The participant must own a motorbike as per specification given below.
Only single Rider per Motor Bike. No Pillion Rider will be allowed.
Right of selection is reserved with the organiser.
Participation Fee
Rs. 85,000/- per participant for Indian national The actual cost of expedition will be much higher. This is highly discounted /subsidized fee as this is a special event to spread awareness about Nature, Humanity as well as Tree Plantation. The fee is payable immediately on acceptance of application.
Cancellation: 50% cancellation charges of the participation fee will be charged till 26th April 2023 and no refund afterwards

8.Technical Assistance for minor repairs.
You are strongly advised to take extra insurance cover for your journey and other related matters.
Risk Factor
This is a high risk adventure programme involving stiff motor cycling up/down on Himalayan Mountain Passes. The following risk factors can effect the participant:
1. High Altitude sickness leading to Pulmonary Oedema
2. Exhaustion due to stressful driving
3. Fall during climb or down leading to ordinary or serious injuries
4. Any unforeseen event It is emphasized again that the above risk can lead to simple injury/serious injury/loss of limb/ temporary or permanent disability/ death.
Organiser will provide adequate assistances in the above
circumstances but can not be held responsible for any risks mentioned or not mentioned above.
